Solblot

Biography

Solblot was formed in south of Sweden during spring 2003. The music is principally based on the north european folk tradition, with some experimental elements.

Conceptually Solblot has a concentration towards Swedish nature- and national romantics. With simple means we want to portray a kind of musical straight forwardness and devotion before a polished and perfected presentation.

We would like to see Solblot as politically and religiously independent. First and foremost we are artists and therefore we wish to have no involvement with any political and/or religious groups.

Solblot tog form i södra Sverige, våren 2003. Den musikaliska inriktningen närmar sig i huvudsak det nord-europeiskt folkliga, med experimentella inslag.

Idémässigt har Solblot en inriktning mot svensk natur- och nationalromantik. Vi vill med enkla medel förmedla en slags musikalisk rättframhet och hängivelse framför ett polerat och perfekt framförande.

Vi vill gärna se Solblot som politiskt och religiöst oberoende. Vi företräder konsten och önskar ej samröre med politiska- eller religiösa grupper.

Solvännen

Solvännen (transl. the friend of the sun) was established in 2011 and it purpose is to release material related to Solblot.

Solvännen är namnet på Solblots skivbolag. Bolaget startades 2011 och är tänkt utge främst material kopplat till Solblot.
